This diamond-shaped island has a magic all of its own - and is one of the UK’s sunniest and warmest places. Measuring 23 miles by 13 miles, the Island lies just off England's South Coast. Over 1,600 children of all levels aged between 7 and 12 come from far and wide to participate in hundreds of exciting rugby games, as organised by the Island’s Vectis Rugby Club.
Considered by many to be the best junior tournament of its type in the UK, the Festival attracts teams from all over the country; competitors are teams of under 8’s right up to under 14’s. England internationals Alan Shearer and Paul Scholes along with Welsh wizard Ryan Giggs have taken part in the past.
